There are two essential observations about the ‘progressive’-Left that I have made many times here:

1. People who self-identify as being on the ‘progressive’-Left take it as a given that merely adopting Leftist positions makes them morally excellent and incapable of error by default.

2. Leftists dispense with independent autonomous thinking in favour of making themselves a vehicle for generic, prepackaged ideological constructs and interpretations.
